Scholarships

Women in Transition Scholarship Presented to a woman who is re-entering the workforce, changing careers, or is a displaced worker who has applied to a post secondary institution for at least part-time attendance. Financial need is a criterion. The scholarship is only available to a female who is 30 years of age or older and has been an Indiana resident for at least 1 year prior to the date of application.
Dr. Bertha Beazley Memorial Endowed Scholarship The scholarship was established in 1995-1996 by a member of the Board of Trustees in honor of her mother, a long time member of Business and Professional Women's Organization. It is presented to a woman entering her junior or senior year in a medical field. The scholarship is only available to a female who has been an Indiana resident for at least 1 year prior to date of application with preference given to an Indiana resident attending an Indiana college or university.
Working Woman Scholarship Presented to a woman who is employed at least 20 hours per week and who has applied or is attending a post-secondary institution, carrying at least a part-time class schedule. Financial need is a criterion. The scholarship is only available to a female who is 25 years of age or older and has been an Indiana resident for at least 1 year prior to application date.
Girl Scout Scholarship Presented to a woman who is between her senior year in high school and her senior year in college and who has applied to or is attending a post-secondary institution for at least part-time attendance. This scholarship is only available to a Girl Scout who has completed the BPW patch and who has been an Indiana resident for at least one year prior to the date of the application. Preference will be given to a student attending an Indiana school. Reapplication is required each year. [Girl Scout Patch Information]
Lynn Rhoades Memorial Scholarship Presented to a woman who is employed at least 20 hours per week and has applied to or is attending a post-secondary institution, majoring in accounting. Financial need is a criterion. This scholarship is only available to a female 25 years of age or older and who has been an Indiana resident for at least one year prior to the date of the application. Reapplication is required each year.
